About Us

Just the beginning…

At Forget Me Not Theatre, we don’t claim to have all the answers. But we do have things to say. As young makers, we want to join the conversation: to share our truths, celebrate joy, challenge perspectives, and be real about the world and the places we live.

We’re building an audience that gets it; people who see today’s struggles for what they are, right here, right now. Theatre is our way of making noise, shaking things up, and delivering experiences that connect.

Our Vision

Our vision is simple: create real opportunities for young creatives. We want to take control, do things differently, and bring new energy to the arts scene.

We will:

Ignite young creatives through bold, immersive theatre that challenges audiences and sparks connection.

Who we are

This project is the brainchild of Luce Wirthensohn (she/they), a Peninsula-born actor and theatre maker with a VCA Bachelor of Fine Arts (Theatre). Luce brings a bold creative vision and extensive experience, having written, directed, and performed in the acclaimed absurdist work Rats on Cocaine Prefer Jazz.

Since graduating in 2021, Luce has performed in Promiscuous Cities (Theatre Works, 2022), starred in Powder Room (2023) and Dry Lands (Theatre Works, 2024), and contributed locally at Flinders Fringe and Drift Festival (2023). Directorial experience includes Assistant Director at Dreamhouse Theatre (2023), Stage Manager for Big Dog Theatre’s The Frog (Melbourne Comedy Festival, 2025), and Acting/Directing in Conversations with Fried Egg (Melbourne Fringe, 2025).

Beyond theatre, Luce is deeply embedded in the local arts and tourism sectors, balancing creative work with research, writing, and hospitality experience. Drawing on a network of Nairm-based emerging actors, directors, designers, and stage managers, Luce leads a young creative ensemble supported by experienced business managers, bridging artistic vision and commercial viability.
